Chipstead Rugby Club

U7 is the age where we first start playing in festivals with other clubs, but only when we're ready. Nobody will be made to play in matches until they're happy.

We are delighted to welcome any player, Boys and Girls, currently in Year 2 to join our training sessions.

We run a varied program of drills and games with a focus on the 5 core values of Rugby: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

Many of our players come to us from Rugby Tots but many have never picked up a rugby ball in their lives, the most important quality is wanting to join in, we can teach the rest. At this age Rugby is non-contact (we play tag rugby where you tackle a player by tearing off a velcro tag) so don't hesitate to give it a Try!
